1. About WiseKidCard

WiseKidCard is an educational platform that helps parents teach children about money management. It provides tools for tracking pocket money, setting savings goals, and recording transactions.

WiseKidCard is not a bank, financial institution, or payment service. No real money is held, transferred, or managed by WiseKidCard. All balances displayed in the app are for educational tracking purposes only and hold no monetary value.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a parent account. By registering, you confirm that you are an adult and that you have the authority to create profiles for any children added to your account.

Children's accounts are managed entirely by the parent. Children do not register independently.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must provide accurate information when registering
• You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without their consent

4. The physical card

The optional WiseKidCard physical card is an NFC-enabled educational accessory. It is not a bank card, debit card, credit card, or payment instrument of any kind. It cannot be used to make purchases or access real financial accounts.

Physical cards are distributed through authorised distributors. WiseKidCard is not responsible for the fulfilment, shipping, or condition of physical cards sold by third-party distributors.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our systems
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or violates any applicable law
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the platform's operation

6. Service availability

We aim to keep WiseKidCard available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes to the service at any time. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by downtime.

7. Intellectual property

All content, design, and code on the WiseKidCard platform is owned by WiseKidCard or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

WiseKidCard is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or suitable for any particular purpose. Use of the platform is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WiseKidCard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for free accounts, is zero).

10. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, all associated data will be permanently deleted.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
